NOBLNG Posted January 4, 2023 Posted January 4, 2023 (edited) Come on…who hasn’t put a cheap pair of shocks on their vehicle?? I made these in about a half hour. I used .080” rod for the inner and a piece of 1/8”o.d. tube for the outer. And .032” brass rod and .050” styrene for mounts. I didn’t get fancy with the mounting points, but it would be easy to upgrade them.? Edited January 4, 2023 by NOBLNG 1
Joe Nunes Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 A nice detail tip. Sometimes you don't need "fancy" to do the job. ? Joe 1
Gary Chastain Posted January 5, 2023 Posted January 5, 2023 Thanks for posting this. I am stealing this for my big rig truck builds.

I don’t know where I got that piece of 1/8”o.d. from…I don’t have it on my stock list.? I did have to ream it slightly with a 2.1mm (.0826”) drill bit.
