Anybody Deal with Hobby Search

Back in early November I ordered some items from Hobby Search (located in Japan).  I have ordered from them in the past and received my packages within a reasonable time.  According to their email to me my package was shipped on 8 November.  I was given a tracking number which dead-ends at Kanagawa (Japan?) on 11/10 at 15:43. Now I did use Surface Parcel, even then the cost was pretty steep, any other form of shipment would have almost doubled the cost of my order.  I figure the package got stuck in a container and has been almost around the world and is now sitting outside San Diego. Anyone else dealt with Hobby Search lately and having similar issues?

I ordered a Aoshima Liberty Walk kit from Hobby Search. It took over a month to get delivered. I had it shipped DHL.

The order did sit in Japan for a while. But it did say on the web site that due to covid, delays were possible.

But I did get it and to be honest, Id order from them again

Anytime i order anything straight from japan i use plazajapan.com LOVE them and never had a issue. DHL or fedex through them and get my stuff about a week and a half.  Never heard of hobby search though.

I ordered a number of times in the past......but my last order took forever, maybe 7 weeks.  Add to it postage has tripled.....maybe not their fault....but a FYI
