Angela Jensen Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Good evening, everyone! My husband is a model car enthusiast. This is his most favorite hobby. He had mentioned a while back that he would love to get a kit for a 1961 Lincoln Continental. Our anniversary is February 2, and I have been trying to find a kit. I have found only two. They're on eBay, and their prices are exorbitant. I am totally willing to spend the money for him. However, I wanted to know from experienced people if there is anywhere I should be looking. I have Googled the item and looked at several sites. All I can find is every year except for 1961 or already asse models. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Angie 1
stitchdup Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 those kits on ebay might be your only choice in plastic kits but there might also be resin or 3d printed versions to build up using one of the other lincoln kits you found as a parts donor. I'm sure someone will be able to help you find what you are looking for. If you decide on one of the 2 kits on ebay it could also be worth getting someone to check that all the parts are in the box, its not unknown for kits to be mislabeled or incomplete.
Horrorshow Posted January 17, 2023 Posted January 17, 2023 Found this one on modelroundup.com for $219.00 Claims it is unopened. A good company to deal withÂ
iBorg Posted January 18, 2023 Posted January 18, 2023 Not a 1961 but the 1965 by AMT is available for a whole lot less.
