Sidney Schwartz Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 Got a bit of ca glue a clear coated and polished body. Is there a way to get it off, or is it a lost cause?
Mark Posted March 5, 2023 Posted March 5, 2023 If it's polished, the glue shouldn't really stick to the surface. You should be able to knock it off with a rag wrapped around your finger, or with the end of a flat toothpick. If that doesn't work, then the glue may have burned through the surface. In that case, it probably won't come off short of being sanded away.
MeatMan Posted March 13, 2023 Posted March 13, 2023 In my very recent experience it will take the paint with it, but the only way to know is to try. This is fresh lacquer paint, and it didn't touch the primer at all. I've sanded it a bit so I can touch it up with the airbrush.
