Beautiful Impala !  Looks like that chassis fits perfectly , well done Gareth !

Thanks, Bob. Yes, once the inner fenders are in place it all fits in there perfect. No pegs needed to stop it sinking in too far under the car, the interior holds it all in the right place and the stance is perfect. I enjoyed the build so much I'll be doing another soon, but this time a four door version.

Congrats on making this kit-bash a resounding success.  I noticed a lot of great detail work, and I though the vinyl top was a great touch as well.

I really like the blue you used on the interior.  Looks perfect for a car of that era, and I could see using it on a project or two of my own.  Would you mind sharing which exact paint was used? (ex: Testors #1611 Blah-blah blue)

Thanks, Monty. I used an aerosol from Halfords motor Factors. It's called Breeze Blue, it's a Vauxhall GM colour.

Nice car. Good work. Somehow front end seems to have a Cadillac look about it. IMHO.

Thanks mate. Yeah, these land yachts of the 60's and early 70's had quality and decoration very much like a Cadillacs. Beautiful cars.
