ismaelg Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Hello, Back at the workbench. Machined rotors for that unique rotor wear look. Just a little touch up here and there on the color edges and into the chassis they go. The fronts are supposed to be a bit larger than the back, but you can't tell. Oh well... Thanks, Ismael
cruz Posted October 6, 2006 Posted October 6, 2006 Nitidos, that's spanish for Cool 8) I am thinking of building a Murcielago and I think they will look just perfect
BMC Tackle Posted October 8, 2006 Posted October 8, 2006 Marcos, Those are awesome. Great job. I have to ask, are those real metal?
ismaelg Posted October 9, 2006 Author Posted October 9, 2006 Louis, Those are actually mine. The rotors were machined from aluminum but instead of having a perfectly smooth surface, I tried to recreate the wear pattern. The calipers are from the kit, removed from the molded rotor. Thanks,
BIGTRUCK Posted October 9, 2006 Posted October 9, 2006 Hey those are some really cool lookin' rotors & hardware...your getting pretty good with that machine...
BMC Tackle Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Great job on those, impressive. Good idea on combining the kit with a machined part.
