Kit #2210 Tom Daniels design from the early 90's I got it as a builder but not in bad shape, just a few glue marks that needed cleanup and needed new glass. Front axle is parts box and so are front wheels and tires. Paint is Krylon Fusion gloss Jungle Green. I did not have decals for this rebuild and the re-issue coming out  is not called the Rattler its called Sidewinder, so Im not sure if decals would be the same so I left it alone till then. The front eyed are trimmed from another kit and snake tongue is cut scrap plastic, added the reptile on the wing. I added cut to shape prism tape to the running board step.

Ken

this kit was one of my holy grail’s for years. For the sole reason that I built one when I was about 10 years old. I ended up finding one and paying way too much for it and as such I probably will not build it but you never know. Anyhow, I’m so glad to see somebody else build this. Especially since you did such an awesome job on it. I am currently restoring/modifying a belt up candy green 30 244 fender coupe in the builder painted the runningboards insert pads contrasting green to the candy metal flake  body. I’m not sure I like the shade of green on those pads though. Thinking about copying your idea of putting some prism tape on them. Although I think it works better on your show rod then it will on my coupe.. That’s the way I’m leaning.. Thanks for the inspiration. In the idea. Fantastic build brother. Happy modeling - Mark.
