Hey Guys, I started this one a while back and it sat for a while. I just got into a better space so I'm back into it and thought I'd post it up. Engine is done and just finished the blue for the tins. Decals next, I have the tobacco ones from Blue stuff.

The decals came up nice, still a couple more to do but a great start. The blue stuff decals go on soooo nice.

A bit slow lately, more decal work and brake rotors onto wheels, I'll try and get some clear over them later today. Thanks for looking everyone.

Was this a MotoGP bike, my MotoGP history is a bit spotty.

Hey afx, not GP, this one raced in the Bol d'Or which is a 24hour endurance race in France.

Thanks Spike!

I cleared over the decals so pretty happy to get to that point. Did the dash, tail light then the primary pipes in alclad. Fitted headlights and covers, I also painted the frame in a black basecoat, just waiting for it to dry and then try some AK metal on it. I haven't used it before so will be a great experiment ?

Got the frame done in AK polished aluminium, it's a bit darker than I think is realistic but still looks good. Then I assembled the rear wheel, swingarm then engine and forks into frame. It's coming along well

Things are moving along, the finish is in sight! The fujimi bike kits have some fitting issues but super cool subject matter makes up for it.

All done apart from some minor detailing. Fujimi kit, painted in Zero, Gravity and Vallejo. Decals by Blue Stuff. Thanks for following along.

Turned out great Jim.  How did the bike do in the race?

Thanks JC, I'm really happy with it. Not 100% sure how they finished but they didn't win. Honda got it.

Did a little research to find out more about the event but didn't come up with much.

Thanks for the compliments guys!

The fitting issues are quite minor and only a problem if you're bad at trial fitting or dummy assembly like I am! Being spoilt by Tamiya bike kits is the only reason you'd notice anything but from memory, if you're building this one, trial fit the exhaust and fairings before paint. I could have modified both to fit nicer and more squarely but painted first and missed an opportunity. I hope that's enough info?
