Nice job! I have a 1947 Ford 2N as yard art. Basically the same tractor.

I've only worked on one of them, but i've restored 4 fergie 35s and 2 135s. I turned one of these heller kits into my grandads 35 or close to it apart from the engine being the wrong way around, lol

Basically the same except that a Ferguson and a Ford N series are two different tractors. The Ferguson was developed to compete against the N series after the Ford/Ferguson deal fell through. It really bothers me every time I see somebody paint the Ferguson kit light grey and red and say hey look it's a Ford N now. ?

As far as the wrecked Ferguson, it might look rough but I'll bet you 20 bucks it'll fire right up with a new condenser. ?

me and my uncle pulled one out of a midden where it had sat for 30 years with just the top of the rear wheels showing where it was. After a long jet wash, som new fluids and a fresh battery and it started right up. Still smelled really bad and most of the panels were toast but it wasn't needing a rebuild like the 135s would in the same state

Having not been around in the 40's when these were built I will defer to your wisdom. Although you shouldn't let what other people do with their own stuff bother you...

On a side note, the engine on my tractor is not stuck and I'd bet it'll run as well. I just don't need a tractor...

I wasn't around in the 40s either but I've had Ford N Series tractors and currently have three Fergusons. For some reason. ?

Passing off a Heller Ferguson as a Ford N only bothers me in the same way as those Rolls Royce grilles they used to make for Beetles bothers me. It's like come on, you aren't fooling anybody, but on the other hand it is kinda cute so whatever.
