Decals and bare metal foil

Do decals and bare metal foil go above or under gloss coats and and clear coats?

Mostly personal preference, but you need to be certain that the clear that you’re using will not adversely affect your decals.

Foil doesn’t matter much, but I find that I get a better result if I foil after clear.

As Steve stated. It is personal preference. I clear after decals and foil. That way they stay down with handling. Some solvent based clears can wrinkle decals. That is why my 69 ZL-1 has never been taken to a show.?
