Smart-Resins Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Well, I had this old bomb here. I took many parts from the parts box. Painted it Testors one Coat Fiery Orange and painted the interior orange. Glued the body parts together before painting. Yes, thats right. No engine. Built this one as a static model/curbside I built this in one day. I also have a trailer to go with it. Pics of that too when its dry. I do still need to black in the body lines. Thanks. Jody
fordh8r Posted February 25, 2009 Posted February 25, 2009 Nice rod! I think some better pictures would do it more justice. I like the color too.
george 53 Posted February 26, 2009 Posted February 26, 2009 Yeah,George, it looks like the snapper to me. Too bad they din't pop that as a true glue kit,I like the 3window MUCH better than the 5 window anyday! It's just a prettier style, more classier to me.Yeah Jody, put some lenses in them slots an call it a day!Looks good!
Smart-Resins Posted February 26, 2009 Author Posted February 26, 2009 from the looks of it, I think it was the remains of the revell 34 ford street rod kit #RMX851943. Yes, I dont have any red left. Once I get some red, I will fill in the tail lights. LOL. Thanks. Also, sorry for the fuzz on the pics. I had the shakes that I could not control. Thanks. Jody
