bobss396 Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 I was going thru my Black Gold spray can collection and was looking for more online. They used to be in Arlington TX, the owner would come up to the NNL East with a good selection of paint and powders. I cannot find any sign of them using a general web search. I know they may have been bought up by Valspar. Does anyone know if the paints are still around? Thanks
karbuildr Posted July 23, 2023 Posted July 23, 2023 Black Gold closed up several years ago. As you mentioned, they may have been purchased by another company but I have no personal knowledge of that. I was disappointed when they shut down since I purchased all of my House of Kolor airbrush paints from them. As far as I know, no one is selling the aerosol cans or the smaller quantity (1 ounce bottles) air brush paints. If you do find them, make sure to post the information here. I have a decent stock remaining but that won't last forever. 1

stitchdup Posted July 24, 2023 Posted July 24, 2023 try coast airbrush in usa for smaller quantities of hok paints. in the uk its jawell paints for hok spray cans and smaller quantities
bobss396 Posted July 25, 2023 Author Posted July 25, 2023 Thanks for the replies, just as I suspected. I have maybe a dozen cans around, new. Their Orion Silver was a great base spray. I just cracked open a can of their Nova Orange metallic.
