Detailing takes so much time. Brackets made and mud flaps on.  Got the diamond plate walkway painted, ended up copying a local trucking company by moving the air/electrical hookups further back, building a box to house them. Will direct plumb the lines to the box with quick disconnects for the trailer. Found some 2mm aluminum farrows that fit over my hose material to replicate the fittings. See how that goes. 3B5B197E-2ED0-4AEA-BF32-D52BF122EA00.thumb.jpeg.f4419cd47b57f9edad98ae09b9bd8b0e.jpeg

Very clean and sharp. The details do become almost endless don't they?

They do, but as you know very well, it is the difference between an average build and an outstanding build. The effort pays off.

If you are doing this conversion, there are issues with the engine compartment. Engine/trans located, had to shorten fan hub and fan mount to reduce the length. The radiator has to be moved back in order for this hood to fit. I also had to shorten the radiator and modify the mount to lower it about a 1/4 inch, otherwise the radiator is too tall, raising the Cab mounts was not an option. I could not use the plastic radiator hoses, so I made my own from flexible tubing. Cab and headache rack are now mounted. Got stuff to finish everywhere. FA1A00B2-642A-43D8-A20C-EB803A2D51C4.thumb.jpeg.f429e4a901ed2a6c6f04886652a12b7a.jpeg

Turned out fantastic

Thanks Jeff, every time I finish a build , I look back I say “well I could have that better or that better” and so on. I guess that’s what drives us to build the next one.
