I am hearing there are issues with the front bumper on some of the Revell 1956 Chevrolet kits on youtube and various google searches reviews of the Del Ray and Nomad kit.

However there was no mention on how to resolve the issue

I recently purchased the 1956 Del Ray Revell 85-4505 (2020) and 1956 Chevy Nomad Revell 85-2892 (2006).

Can anyone kindly enlighten me on how to resolve the front bumper issue? I am hearing it sticks out too far.

I did find a thread on this forum but the attached photos no longer display as the thread was several years old.

Thanks kindly.

Pretty surre you don't have to worry about it Ken.  IIRC, the problem, too wide header between the bumper and body, was corrected before those were issued.

The issue was 100% corrected for the Del Ray. Early issues of the Nomad had too large an apron behind the bumper, requiring some re-engineering of the apron to get the front bumper in the proper position- I haven't had a re-issue of the Nomad in my hands to compare against the original issue.

For someone who has both an early issue and the reissue, it would be interesting to see some photos illustrating the difference in front bumper parts.

According to Scalemates the Nomad I have was released by Revell in 2006 (85-2892)

Kits 85-2489 (1997) and 85-4947 (2011), so i was assuming kit 85-4947 did not have the issue as it was the latest released kit in 2011.

Best thing to go would compare the Nomad part with the sedan part Ken. Like Greg said, it was corrected when the sedan was issued. All of those had the correction and all the Nomads after that also got the correction.

I'm pretty sure the Nomad you listed was the last issue so would have the correction.
