Wanna help out the 3rd grade?

My sister is a 3rd grade teacher. They have recently started a cool project for the class. So, being that I'm a member here, and we are a diverse crew from all over, I thought, why not..

If you'd like to send one, please do so... You may just get one from the class in return. You will definitely help in reaching their goal.

I told my sister about posting this.

She told the kids and She/Them are all super excited.

 

And after talking with a fellow member here @DPNM it was suggested if you guys would like to put MCM on the card, she'll know exactly where they came from.

Wow. I didn't think the postcard would float across the Atlantic so quickly. It must have taken the plane after all.

I was in England earlier this month. Sent home a postcard put it in a post box Monday AM. My wife texted me on Thursday, and they had received it already.

From a postbox in Beenham to our kitchen in Stony Plain, AB in 4 days.

Yet somehow my copies of MCM take 8-10 weeks.

My sister has sent me a picture of the board so far. Thought I'd post it here. I've seen several familiar names and the MCM on others.

The kids have been pretty excited about the all of them and blown away about the ones that have shown up from other countries.

A big thank you to all who have supported this, from her, me and most importantly the kids. If you'd like to do it, please feel free to.

The kids are loving it.

She's trying to count up how many states they don't have as of yet.

The cards coming in from around the globe (stateside and abroad) are blowing the kids away.
