The kit's good attributes outweigh any of its shortcomings :

- Hurst Dual Gate consolette & shifter (in spite of the kit's having a 4-speed. This is an artifact of the kits' original issues which included a 225 six/ 904 'standard', and a 426 Race Hemi / 727 as the option)
- The only game in town for a '67-'69 Barracuda (though I'm keen on the hardtop and convertible styles those years more so than the fast back)
- Presents nicely as an OOB 'shelf candy' kit.

What John said above, plus one other big oops.  The front grille insert for the 1969 update of this kit does not do a very good job of replicating the 1/1 scale car appearance.  I know this because I just completed a buildup up the kit and did my best to work around the problem.  Result was better, but not great.   TB

Since you mentioned the convertible I went and looked it up since I'm not a big fan of the rear window setup on the 67-69. I much prefer the great big window of the earlier model. I was thinking about trying to transplant the  earlier roof onto the 69 body(I'd have to find one first), but maybe a convertible would be the way to go. I'm intent on a 69 because I got some great 3d printed pieces to correct the front grilles and rear panel so I want to use them. How involved would it be to convert the body to a convertible?
