Half tempted to pick up one of these. I had a with blue interior '95 extended cab. looked kind of like this one.

Anyone know the cost to 'clone' a kit as opposed to all new tooling? Since Round 2 owns the Lindberg stuff now, I love to see them do a clone of this 92 Toyota in 1/25th scale. There's a lot of us picky builders who don't build anything except 1/25th and 1/24th.

 That looks amazing! This and the Nissan hard-body are such good kits, I wish they were 1/25th scale though. I don't have space for the bigger kits.

I suspect the cloning cost is dependent on the complexity of the kit being scanned and any enhancements.

I also suspect that in this case the process would be scan, reduce by 80 percent,  and manual cleanup which I suspect would take more time over a one-to-one cloning.
