mrmike Posted November 27, 2023 Author Posted November 27, 2023 Thanks Carl! I appreciate the come back!
mrmike Posted January 19, 2024 Author Posted January 19, 2024 (edited) The Story McNally plots again to have Hawk take another shot at Jacob Anderson as he dines with friends that he knows. Hawk takes a shot at Jacob and he quickly leaves the scene in the beat-up sounding old car that McNally provided having to be careful to shoot above Jacob's head at the fence. Jacob is definitely getting nervous! The Build I added another two coats of Tamiya TS-54 Light Blue Metallic to the Charger body today. It looks great! Edited January 23, 2024 by mrmike 2
mrmike Posted February 10, 2024 Author Posted February 10, 2024 The Story McNally is sitting in his easy chair at his safehouse when his door rattles. With his Smith & Wesson Model 4506 at his side, he approaches the door and looks through the peephole and he sees someone he hasn't seen in a while...Claire Corbin. He lets her in and she tells him that she was approached to kill him, which she turned down. McNally thinks that maybe it time to bring this all to an end! The Build I added the blackout trim to the Charger after masking the body. 2
KWT Posted February 11, 2024 Posted February 11, 2024 This is all coming together nice Mike. The blue you picked out suits it well.
mrmike Posted February 11, 2024 Author Posted February 11, 2024 Thanks Jeremy! Now to remove the tape from the body.
mrmike Posted April 2, 2024 Author Posted April 2, 2024 (edited) The Story It was a sunny Sunday afternoon when Jacob Anderson and company arrived at the destination for the drop-off of the Fentanyl. The transporter steps out of her pickup truck and she walks away from the truck with its shipment hidden in all of the small recesses of the pickup truck. Jacob and company move towards the truck and two of his crew get into the standard cab GMC 2500 pickup to drive it away to the processing area that Jacob had set up last year to break the truck down to get at the drugs. Suddenly, a group of cops and DEA agents come out of hiding and surround the truck and Jacob Anderson and company! Everyone is arrested and the truck is seized as evidence against the Anderson Group. Both Boston PD and the DEA have their work cut out for them and they are congratulating themselves on their capture. McNally is watching all of this from his vantage point high above the old warehouse area in Dorchester and smiling to himself. The truck was driven up from the Mexican border and in a big raid, the cartel was finished by the Mexican Police and US Federal agents. The Build Another coat of paint for the Charger body and hood! KWT Posted April 4, 2024 Posted April 4, 2024 (edited) That blue is looking good Mike. You just talked me into buying a can. Edited April 4, 2024 by KWT
mrmike Posted April 12, 2024 Author Posted April 12, 2024 Good, Jeremy! I hope that you enjoy the color!
mrmike Posted April 12, 2024 Author Posted April 12, 2024 The Charger is coming along! I'm still working on the windows for the Charger. I just have to paint and install the front and rear windows and paint and install the rear license plate panel and then final assembly. 1
Noah H. Posted April 12, 2024 Posted April 12, 2024 The paint on that looks really sharp, as do all of the details throughout the build. Nice work.
mrmike Posted April 13, 2024 Author Posted April 13, 2024 Thanks Noah and Jeremy! I just need to finish the front windshield and the rear window.
mrmike Posted April 14, 2024 Author Posted April 14, 2024 I painted the surrounds on the front and rear windshields. I have to admit that this is something I have been putting off for a little bit. The windshields came out well, but the rear windshield now has a hole from all of the masking and the instructions don't tell you to insert anything red in the hole. Well, I guess that the instructions are just a guide and no one should pay much attention to them.
