Dave B Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Ok, for various reasons I have ended up with 3 projects on the go. First of is my A6GCS. An expensive file that turned out to be a solid block of resin and the wheels wouldn't print. After having a friend hollow it out my mate Phil could barely get a body out of it. He did manage but what I got was always going to be a lot of work. So, into the interim I had bought a cheap file of a 33TT12. I got what I paid for but Phil managed to print me one in basic resin. It's fairly brittle and no matter how much care I took removing the supports pieces of the body broke. Nothing a little epoxy putty couldn't fix. Another old mate received an Indy '35 Miller Ford. He already has 2 built and had always promised me one should it be forthcoming. It was and I had always intended building a 50's American sports car special out of it so that's under way as well. Not sure which one will be the first finished but at least I have a choice!! I'm also waiting for a file of the Ford DFV 3L (P68) to come on special. I'm checking every day. Dave B
Rattlecan Dan Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Busy guy! They all sound like cool worthwhile builds. Will be waiting for your work.
1959scudetto Posted October 30, 2023 Posted October 30, 2023 Once again some great things up ahead - I'm looking forward to great models from you , Dave - especially interested in the Maserati and the Alfa Romeo.
Kolu Posted October 31, 2023 Posted October 31, 2023 Three nice projects and three very nice reference books . Should be plenty of interest here.
