Mittagskind Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 I bought this kit from the eighties a couple of month ago on ebay without the original box, but unbuilt with all parts, decals and instructions for a low price. I know other Fujimi-Kits as well detailed and of good quality. This looks the same. For exsample it contains a special engine stand, if you want to show the engine separately outside the car. I believe, I would like to do that. 1
iamsuperdan Posted November 3, 2023 Posted November 3, 2023 Nice! I have the normal 1/16 Testarossa kit, but haven't gotten around to starting it. I imagine it will be very similar to yours. Have you decided on colours yet?

And I have another Testarossa Spider in 1/8 scale from Pocher Rivarossi in black with red interior. I can't decide about the color of the new kit yet. Metallic silver or white are boring and I have a lot of red models (most Alfa Romeos) in my vitrins, so red is not a good choise too. Maybe I take a strong, shiny blue with a light brown interior?!
Mittagskind Posted December 11, 2023 Author Posted December 11, 2023 Years later... ...no, this is really the worst kit I ever built. So many not fitting parts and instructions that aren't worth the paper they're written on. Only a few detailing on chassis and axles. Only the engine is acceptable. Overall, you could expect more from a kit on a scale of 1:16 that costs 50 to 100 €. 1
dino246gt Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 That engine looks good though. I have the 1/12th TR, MAN that kit is really bad, I mean 1/12th, oh but such a challenge is right up my alley! Someday! LOL Good luck with the 1/16th, at least it has separate doors, not the 1/12th Monogram!

dino246gt Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 (edited) I won't be opening the doors but I also wont be using the solid wheel backs with no brakes!!! Edited December 13, 2023 by dino246gt

Rich Chernosky Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 Hanjo....I have all three of the Fujimi 1/16 Ferrari's (the berlinetta, spyder, and Konig) despite some of their shortcomings I feel they are decent kits and have lots of potential. Well worthy of your talents. I have one (the konig) well started but will be interested with what you do. I am on hold while I move to a new location.

A kit from Italeri. In comparison to the Fujimi-kit are many parts the same or similar, but many of them with better details. When I've finished the spider I will show pictures of both.

I also have the Ferrari 512BB berlinetta and that shares some of the parts to the other three kits too. Look forward to your progress.
