I’m sorry, but it’s just my opinion that it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to improve upon the looks of many of these vintage cars. Steve Yep. Agreed 100% which is why- apart from maybe flashier wheels and suspension lowering- I'll rarely do custom versions. Having said that, the chop top and rear wheel skirts that come with this particular kit are pretty hard to resist!
Ace-Garageguy Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Very nice...and fits together SO much better than the vast majority that get built. I don't know why, but getting the hood / grille / cockpit surround (or the fit of the steel tops) non-wonky eludes most builders. Like I said...very nice. 1
Sledsel Posted November 14, 2023 Posted November 14, 2023 Good looking roadster! Looks to be Hunter green in my eye. Nothing wrong with rattle can paint, all of mine are and honestly, they can be wet sanded and buffed to look like a quality airbrush job. 1

Yeah, that area you mention is probably the major fault of the kit which is why I chickened out a bit on the drag version by leaving the cowl sides off! ? 1
