Ok here is the deal, I am currently modifying the original engine from the kit by adding an Edelbrok aircleaner and valve covers. But, I am wondering if I should use this:

I want to use it, but I don't know if there will be another project down the road that I would want to use it in.

Go ahead and use it. I'll send you another one. I have a box of four more...

I'll drop it in the mail this weekend.

I like this Clay,

But I can't say much for the dead cat..!

Interesting choice of color & yes the BMF is tough to say the least but looks like you'll need to highlight the door handles & maybe rear emblem. Even if in testors brush on you'll be better off...

Good luck,

Hizoot :)

Clay, keep the Studebaker engine, please. There are to many SBC's in to many cars, it would be nice to see the Studebaker in it. I have one that I started many moons ago as a mild custom but put it in the box cause I dropped a pair of pliers on it and broke the top. BUMMER B) Sorry for going off track here ;) Anyway, I like the looks of yours, real nice color and the BMF looks great, although I agree that the door handles and trunk emblem needs finished. Keep up the great work. I posted more pics of the Studebakers that I have in your other post of Studebakers if you would like to see them. Dan

Hey Clay!... Way cool build!!

Why not use the Potvin front mounted blower and induction system on

the Stude motor. That would make the Stude fans happy and you still

get a MEGA-COOl looking motor that stays under that super slippery

hood.

Just my opinion.
