supermike Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 what was that mettle stuff you used for the grill? mike
MR BIGGS Posted March 19, 2009 Posted March 19, 2009 Very nice work 408 you out did yourself this time. I like the way you motorized the back amp rack. Supermike we use the stainless oil splatter guard wich you can find in any kitchen or baking area. Its about 10 inchs round with a handle to keep the oil from jumping out the pan when frying.
LowJay Posted March 20, 2009 Posted March 20, 2009 :o thats all I can say....thats freaking SWEET!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

LDO Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Not really my cup of tea, but you do some really nice work.
Troy_audi0 Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 Yeah Thats sick, i do custom car audio for a living, I like how this turned out! I just wish the flocking was not so thick.. it would be perfect!
Foxer Posted March 21, 2009 Posted March 21, 2009 interesting build photos .. I really enjoyed seeing them. Most customs don't have as much bodywork as that one has in the interior! Great job matching the original.
Toast Posted March 23, 2009 Posted March 23, 2009 (edited) ok, excuse my ignorance, as I don't know squat about cars like this... but what exactly is the point of the screens in back that point up??? I actually got a really simple and I think honest answer to that question once. It was while I worked at a car stereo store and one of our customers was showing off all that our installers had done to his SUV. After showing where all his speakers, amps, and subwoofers were then counting all the LCD monitors I asked him, "why do you need 17 monitors in a vehicle?" "Because you don't." was his answer. Quite an arrogant answer but that's pretty much what customizing cars like that is all about. The man with the most toys wins. That's an awesome attention to detail. and the multi-colored flocking is great! Edited March 23, 2009 by Toast
