mrmike
1967 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT I glued the body on, but the exhaust tips are too far in under the body to be seen, plus there is a gap between the end of the chassis and the inside of the rear bumper. And, the hood is in need of a repaint.
mrmike
I got the decals on, but I did break one of the long side decals, which is typical of me. I still have to repaint the hood and add the filler piece of the rear chassis. Moving ahead slowly!

mrmike
1967 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT One difference between the '67 Comet and the '67 Fairlane is the rear deck difference. The rear deck is longer on the Comet than the Fairlane and it shows in the AMT kit. I made a plate for the chassis which will be painted with Tamiya TS-6 Matt Black. The exhaust tips will either be bent into a straight position or removed for the aluminum tubing.
mrmike
1967 Mercury Comet Cyclone GT I made a set of exhaust tips that will need to be foiled. I trimmed the exhaust and mounted the new exhaust tips. I need to add some flat black paint to the inside of the new exhaust tips.
