I found out that Pontiac made a car called the Lemans endura, that looks just like a GTO. I put some pictures below.

I thought that this would be a good idea for the kit I got yesterday the AMT 1972 pontiac GTO.

I love Pontiacs!

Those wagons look sharp.

I remember an option where you could order a standard Lemans with the GTO nose.

Must be what these are.

Also look for GT-37

Thanks guys.

James W: that is that option it was called the lemans endura option and it cost an extra $45.

evilone: right on with that, it's how I think about things, the reason I was wondering why I never had any posts is because this is sort of interesting for those GM A body(lemans. GTO, chevelle, malibu, cutlass) guys like me.

OK. That wagon is just too dang cool. I like. A lot. I have several wagon conversions planned. Nothing like being able to get the groceries. At 2 seconds per block!! B)

As for comments... Hey!! It was St. Patrick's day. Everyone was out getting drunk. And maybe most where so stunned by what a really cool project it is, and mad at themselves for not thinking of it themselves. ;)

Duke, I for one have NEVER seen one of those, and I HAVE SEEN ALOT!!! If you hadn't shown so many in different colors, I would've thought they were someone twisted idea of a joke! I am TRULY surprised by this as even in the early 70's I NEVER saw one, and I was REAL into G.M's back then. I had a friend who BUILT his own 66 Buick Grand Sport wagon from a wrecked GS and his dad's hand me down car, but it WAS a 1 off. If you hadn't posted the pics, I STILL would never have believed Pontiac ever made one of those! Ya larn sumpin new every day! Thanks!!! :D;)

Duke, I just noticed your in CANADA! THAT explains it, that car was NOT available here as far as I know. You guys had quite a few G.M.'s that were unique to your country, that were NOT available here in the U.S.! We had the GT-37, But NO GTO wagons. THAT IS TOO COOL!!!!! :D

Pontiac GTO wagon...way cool!

My buddy had two T-37s. I think they were a one year only car, either '71 or '72...I always forget which year they were, as it was many moons ago...
