shoopdog Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 If anyone uses this primer I could use some info. I’ve just recently started using this after reading some post where it been used and liked. The main reason I’ve started using it is that it’s ready to spray from the bottle. So my question is this NOT meant to be sanded before the base coat. Even sanding with a 3200 grit pad the primer wears away from any ridges, even if rubbing with a microfiber cloth. My surface is cleaned with soap and water and scuffed properly. Any recommendations would be appreciated.
SfanGoch Posted January 28, 2024 Posted January 28, 2024 Stynylrez is self-leveling, dries completely rock hard and absolutely smooth. No need for sanding. If you find it too thick for your taste, thin it with a small amount of 70% isopropyl alcohol. 2
