Hi, Heres the frames painted one is curb side the other has a D/D 8V 92 painted silver for a change & a few extra details added, Next job is the cabs. I have also made cab supports which i have made a mould of ready to cast

Excellent pair of frames there mate, they look great. Always impressed with your jobs. 

Is that Detroit the one I've discovered in the Ford LTL9000? I'm thinking of learning to cast pieces just to cast this engine or maybe even just the transmission because in cabovers their often visible.

Thanks for the kind words, Yes the motor is from the ford, cast in resin from homemade moulds, the gear box is mounted in both frames. It`s worth having a go at casting , I use 3 & 5mm foam board for the boxes, cheaper than plastic. mould & casting materials from DWR Plastics ltd.

You've really got me thinking. I'll have a look at a few tutorials.
