Looking for a late model, light weight boom setup to use on 78 Dodge long bed p/u kit. Saw on ebay that several gmc/chev pickup kits have what I'm looking for so I hope someone on the forum has the boom parts but didn't use them in their build. Let me know what you would want it trade, have many parts to offer.  Thanks for looking and hope for some help.

If you don't mind fabricating the parts in Nashville Tennessee there's a museum called the towing and recovery museum it's the history of towing and they have a lot of vehicles in there if you look online you might find that museum I did I used it a several times for building a tow truck.

I believe the towing museum is in Chattanooga TN, where many wreckers are made.

You are correct. It’s about 10 minutes from my house and oddly enough I’ve never been to it.

Thanks for the info, found the parts needed. I may checkout the site to do a better build.

How I learned out about this place believe it or not Stacy from Gearz back when he had Trucks TV show and the Lane museum Jay Leno like that one.
