That looks great to me! I love the inside detail of the trunk, why not prop it open?

I think that's what i'm going to do instead of gluing it shut.

Paint work looks great and that color definitely suits the car.

I agree, there is quite a nice variety of colors available in the sixties.

Beautiful build! I learned to drive in a 63 Chevy II the same color with bench seat. Lot of good memories driving it. I've got a 64 Möbius kit partially build. Thanks for sharing pics!

It's funny how cars and music can trigger memories, thanks for the comment.

Looks fantastic, Curtis! I've got one of these, along with a 60 Pontiac kit Trumpeter offered. I'll have to dig them out. I've heard they're not for the faint of heart, but yours looks great! Nice work.

Definately,i think i was caught off guard with alot of the extra work needed,i also have the convertible kit,if and when i build it i'll be better prepared for sure!!

Very nice showroom Nova there Curtis. I believe the trunk inside brace needs to be attached to the trunk skin whilst in the closed position. This also applies to the hood. Really well done on a difficult kit.

Cheers,

David. ??

Thanks for the comment and you're probably correct.

Great work with the Nova, it turned out beautiful!

It's hard to see from the pics, but did you have the issue where there is a gap between the firewall and the rest of the body? I just started building the Convertible version and looks like the firewall needs some modifying. The rear bumper fits a little too low, but of course that's Trumpeter's fault, not yours.

Very nicely done build!

Yes, i had a small gap between the firewall and body, but it is not to noticeable unless you look at the car head on.I realized after i superglued the bumper it sits low, i plan on trying to take it apart gently and regluing it up higher. Also take note that the chrome strips in the interior and exterior need lots of sanding to fit  flush and sand down the underside of the trunk to get it to sit flush with the body.

Amazing looking old school build complete with six-banger! Absolute awe of this model.

Thanks!,it's not the easiest kit to build and there is a few areas i could've done better.
