Another orphan that I found in the bowels of my storage trailer. It was mostly complete but needed some TLC and repair to finish it. I may install a parachute cable and it could use a sponsor decal. Mostly left over parts from a AMT Double Dragster kit ( one of my favorites!)IMG_9938.jpg.955f8fc183e98c3b88c77ae27edd58d4.jpgIMG_9939.thumb.jpg.624df6fca31c5239b2c36d912bca66f9.jpgIMG_9940.jpg.8d7b5051a82bc9137a3bd194f153c62b.jpgIMG_9946.thumb.jpg.1872c1fe22105db210ebf07bf5f5dbe9.jpg

I had some fun making the floor pan from sheet aluminum and using a pounce wheel to add rivet detail.IMG_9944.thumb.jpg.4ae68bf40678dce4d451ca19562df687.jpg

I bought some HO scale stanchions a while back. They make perfect rod ends for the steering linkage.IMG_9930.thumb.jpg.490a0826b4e0e39140fdccb547583e2a.jpgIMG_9942.thumb.jpg.7d564376122904e92fbb9c72313d2dda.jpgIMG_9945.thumb.jpg.2dfffd1cc60dab042ec5c2ef4806ff5c.jpg

This was one of the most relaxing and fun builds in a long time!

The stain on the cylinder head was the result of too much Tamiya panel liner. I was gonna wipe it off, but it looked like a perfect oil leak from the valve cover, so I left it! ?IMG_9947.thumb.jpg.b4fe6d0388cbdafb96be8739bd1be430.jpg

Wasn't Bob Ross who used to say something like "happy little accidents" ?

Looks the part and overall nicely done.

cheers, Graham
