Ace-Garageguy Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 Few years back I started doing two similar swaps, '41 nose on a resin '48 4-door based on the Revell kit, and another '41 nose on the infamous IMC/Testors '48 that was getting lead-sleaded. Neither one seemed to be particularly difficult as far as I can remember, which is as it should be, 'cause in reality it's almost a straight bolt-on...other than the running boards. Just measure carefully and work slowly and pay attention to fit as you go.
bobss396 Posted April 17, 2024 Posted April 17, 2024 The factory '41 to the '46-'48 post-war cars were quite similar in the 1:1 world. I would consider doing one. Now if someone would make up a 3D printed '42 grille...
