Fujimi's Ford GT40, 68 le mans winner

So this is the old Fujimi GT40, one of my all time favorites cars. it will be painted in the 68 le  mans winner livery. 

nothing special about the kit, very basic and simple curb side model, which i finished in few hours.

next i moved to the body, which is the main focus on this car, i sanded all the mold lines, glued on the hood and filled the LH fuel cap location. next i primed it with gray Mr.surfacer, sanded smooth and shot several layers of Zero paints Gulf blue...this is where i am currently, letting the paint dry before i move on to clear and decals.

Did you know the same chassis won Le Mans both 1968 and 1969?
Chassis 1075, as No 9 1968 and No 6 1969.
