Revell 1965 Chevelle Malibu SS Convertible (Resin)

Not sure how i missed seeing this build!   what a great project,  awesome color combo,  very cool to see it as a regular SS and not a z-16.  Great combo of colors, wheels, engine choice, etc!

Thanks,i've had this resin body sitting for years and it was  time to do something with it.

Okay probably my last update:rear bumper installed.?

Front grille installed,painting the front emblem was a real pita!!.?

Bottom trim installed,i did have to cut it down a little to fit,doglegs installed in the interior too.?

Engine bay complete added windshield wipers too.?

I used P/E for the lettering on the hood,front bumper ready to be installed and modified aircleaner ready to be installed as well.?

I love it! I did a phantom Z16 Convertible years ago.

Well i did it i bought a new AMT AWB 65 Chevelle and cut out the rear Pannel and it was easy i really did not think it would go that easy and fast it slipped in it took some sanding on the Revelle back end not much and a piece of half round stock to make up the chrome strip that goes around the back I also used the AMT taillights and bumper i will try to get some photos before i paint i love the SS look I was never crazy about the Z16 back.

Great idea using the revell kit instead of using the Round2 kit,would love to see some photos.
