I took apart my mpc 1969 plymouth barracuda model and redid it as the right hand drive 69 Chrysler valiant barracuda from south Africa which was in production for 3 year 68 ,69 ,70 I put a Chrysler 225 slant 6 under the hood as that was the only engine option these cars had I cut apart a Revell 68,69 dart dash and rearranged the parts to make it a right hand drive dash I also made bumper guards and added this vinyl roof section on the roof that I saw in the reference pics I used I also modified a set of rims from my parts boxes to match the ones on the car in the reference pics
I painted the body a base coat rust-oleum 2x gloss apple red and a top coat of eastup high performance wheel paint flash orange gold
I did all the body and interior detail paint work with a few different colors of acrylic craft paint using dead ultra fine tip sharpie markers instead of paint brushes

i have a  1969 cover of proud mary sund by a south african band called the rising sons playing in the back ground of the video

That colour really pops Michelle. Nice bit of modelling creativity with the right hand drive conversion.    Cheers, Stu.
