Correct rattle can Red for the Original 1970 Mongoose Duster

Hello. Since I only paint using rattle cans what would be the best Red to use for the original 1970 Mongoose? I was thinking about Tamiya TS49 Bright Red? I would appreciate any suggestions. Thank you.

That's awesome. I used the same shade on mine. Pictures to come as I start building her. By far and away my favorite FC driver of my youth. Shame that he has since passed? May he Forever Rest In Peace.

Hi a few questions if I may in regard to the build.

What color did you paint the engine?

What color did you use for the piece that surrounds the driver? 

What color did you paint the exhaust pipes?

I painted the engine semi-gloss black, the tins aluminum and the headers were painted steel
