Mr. Metallic Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 Honestly, not much different here from the previous two kits. New wheels and belt cover are the most obvious parts. Otherwise, an a quick look the only other different thing not available in the other kits is the decals. I was hoping for some new/different parts, bu they are still awesome kits. If you haven't bought one, do yourself a favor and get one from Tom! BTW, the box art for the Bone Dady shows the wire wheels, so I'm not sure what the second style is.
Matt T. Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Craig, I saw that one. If you notice, the seat is new, and the curved shotgun exhaust pipes are new too - and cool! I've heard that the Bone Daddy is a mash-up of the Crusader & Aces Wild. Crusader billet wheels, and no news parts at all. Save your money and buy another Torch, IMO. Did anyone notice in the photos from iHobby in Chicago that the Revell poster for the Gambler & Fireball choppers said "Coming in July 2007"? I hope not, there are some really cool billet wheel options in those two!
Mr. Metallic Posted October 25, 2006 Author Posted October 25, 2006 Like I said, it was just a quickee review, I didn't look that in depth. Thanks for taking the time to look deeper!
Matt T. Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Thank you both for the reviews! IMO, Torch is the best looking RM chopper yet. I may even build it box stock.
