I just visited the Segerstrom Shelby Event center today and was surprised to see some 351 and 429 Mach1s and Boss 351s.

Nice. I, like you have a spot in my heart that is near and dear to this body style. I’ve had two ‘71 Mach 1’s in the past and have been longing for another for many years. They are my favorite Mustang.

The exhaust manifolds have a realistic texture, is that molded detail or did you do that?

They have that texture molded into them. I think I mixed Tamiya Flat brown and Metallic Grey for the color. It is a very nice kit.

Did I mention how much I love this kit? What a difference when people who care make model kits instead of bean counters
