shoopdog Posted August 11, 2024 Posted August 11, 2024 Finished up this kit that I had picked up at a local antique mall in town for 4.50. Not sure how old this one is but every decal seemed to be on the verge of ripping to shreds, seemed extra thin. Unfortunately I couldn’t get the rear stance any lower. Paint is Rust-Oleum Apple Red that dried in about a months time, then wet sanded and polished. The Terry Labonte car is an older AMT kit I built years ago. 2
Horrorshow Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 Real sharp. I like how you did the black around the windshield. 1
Volzfan59 Posted August 12, 2024 Posted August 12, 2024 That's a great looking replica. That particular car was one of my favorite Bud Moore owned race car's. I like the simplicity of the paint job on most of Bud's cars. Thank you for posting it.

MarkJ Posted August 15, 2024 Posted August 15, 2024 Super nice build Keith. Very clean paint work and the decals turned out fine so you must have powered through the thinness of them. It's always nice to find an old kit at bargain price where you least expect to find it. 1
ncbuckeye67 Posted August 16, 2024 Posted August 16, 2024 Both builds are super clean, and very well done! 1
