An update of sorts, I pulled the whole fam damily out of boxes and had a look at their current states. The station wagon and delivery van both need a complete rethink. Roadsters, did I really start that many? The monogram one is slated for a faux-vivor rebuild of the original little deuce/son of ford. The black roadster is going to be a post war hot rod complete with flathead power. The 29 pickup is very close to a complete state so that may get some attention soon. The other white roadster is a 97 release on fenders from a 5W that needs some attention( I think someone did that and showed the corrections needed) dark blue roadster is the new release roadster that got abandoned. 33/34 pickup was another recent late night do I have enough to build it sessions. And lastly the Art deco 40 project that started with a full head of steam and the ideas stopped germinating. The current pair in work are the 32 pickup and the 32 3W.

These would take me a lifetime to complete! I am lucky to finish one a year! Hoping that all changes now that I found this forum for inspiration. Nice work, Bil!

Thank you Zachary, some of these mock ups were started within the last 4 years. I restarted the hobby in 2020 and I learned it’s sometimes good to flesh(plastic) out the ideas if you can. This hobby like any other take time and dedication. Best of luck! Lots of great resources here https://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/forum/8-model-building-questions-and-answers/

I particularly like the 5W in the first post with the zee'd frame. I am about to start a 5W project and you are giving me brain worms

You have a few deuces to get done - no sleep for a while

It is my endeavour to gift you bench squirrels! 🐿️ The 5W will have a moment in the sunlight soon. It’s currently at the Deuce works.

There's a lot of invested hours on display here - more details are found the longer I look at the pics!  Great collection when they're all finished.

Brian sometimes I have to take a visible inventory of what I have started. I dare not keep track of the time investment otherwise I’d probably try to find shortcuts. Thank you for the compliment. The three window, 32 pickup and the 29 pickup have current build threads.

"No matter how he tried he could not break free; and the worms ate into his brain" 🤯

Sorry, couldn't help it. 🥴

And now I want to listen to the Wall!

I have been following them as well - I should comment more often!

I don't mind the squirrels so much, it's the ground hogs that cause the most trouble.

But they make a good stew.👩‍🍳

I say paint the frame satin black (or rust)with a brush and leave the body as is.  Skeletonize the interior add a '40 steering wheel and Navajo blanket. Paint a number on the door with a brush in white and find a rusty old flathead. And lose the vent wings, slant the windshield back 10 degrees and scratch some long side pipes.😀........or not 🙁

Oh, and a set of stock wires off of a '34. 😉

I've never been a fan of louvers but the trunk looks good Bil.

BTW, I think your squirrels were here. Made a Ford starter solenoid and hour ago. Painted it and set it aside to dry. Can't find it anywhere.

I have a chopped windshield to go on it, working on a stripped interior and other up/downgrades haha, flathead will be a must as well as a handmade exhaust. Still on the hunt for a set of stock 34 wires as well!
