RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted September 20, 2024 Posted September 20, 2024 New outdoor shots of my 1975 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega tribute. It's a tribute because real '75 CosVegs were painted black with gold trim only. The '76 that has a different front clip came in different shades of paint including this Mahogany paint. So this is like taking a base Vega and painting it to look like a CosVeg. I tried to fix it up. You can see in the last couple of pics it was a wreck. That's how I got it with lots of missing parts. Many parts came from parts box and other kits that had spare parts, while some parts were fabricated. Chances are most people would throw it away when it had that many missing parts, but I decided to give it a new lease on life. 5
RACINE ISHRAQUR RAZA Posted January 18 Author Posted January 18 @slusherThanks! Not my best build and I might replace the bumpers in future with actual bumpers from the kit. The ones I scratch built looks too big.
Spex84 Posted January 20 Posted January 20 Nice save! I really dig the paintjob and color combo with those wheels. I agree that the bumpers are a little bulky.
