Engines that have been done: Powerstroke, Duramax, Cummins

Engines that have not been done:  6.2/6.5 Detroit, 7.3 IDI ?

Iceman and Texas 3D have had those in their rotations at various times.

UPDATE: So, I checked out both sites, and yeah, they have an impressive selection of engines, but sadly, not what I'm looking for. Still, I think it's cool they have 572 Big Blocks if I ever wanna build a monster truck model.

Eckchooally...the Chevy 572 looks pretty much like the familiar 396, 427, and 454 externally. The displacement differences are internal.

IIRC, with appropriate valve covers, intake and exhaust manifolds, and other minor detail differences, any Chevy "big block" in the family (not "W" 348/409 engines) can pass for any other up through generation VI in 1/25 scale (excluding the ZZ632, which has evenly spaced intake ports and very different cylinder heads).

Regardless, I think getting a 572 would make for a more badass monster truck than a 454, though I'd get a 454 if I was trying to make an exact replica of a specific truck.

I checked too, but he nevertheless had some very interesting parts as well, so I'm bookmarking him.

I've had nothing but good experiences dealing with him. His products are top notch, and he's great to deal with.

Do what you like, but you can't tell if an engine is a 454, a 427, a 396, or a 572 by looking at the outside.

I'm building a real '66 Chevelle with a 572 right now, and if someone wasn't told it was a 572, they wouldn't know if it was any of those engines.   :)

a site called trailer trash used to have the Ford 7.3L & the GM 6.6L Duramax, I did not check them recently, but am suggesting here for you to see if they still do.

Yeah, I think it was either Iceman or Texas 3D Customs that also has those.

I was looking for a 6.5TD Detroit Diesel myself for the Chevy C3500 dually. It would have been one of three engine choices. 5.7L 350, 7.4L 454, or 6.5L Turbo Diesel. I could go with the Iceman Duramax 6.6 Turbo Deisel as a swap engine.

Trailer Trash Kustoms is out of business. Besides, I bought their Ford Powerstroke engine as they were closing and the heads were horribly disfigured to the point that I had to design & print my own.
