Looks righteous, Bil.  Desoto grille, very good choice. Some freehand style pinstriping might be neat, nose and tail. It's a nice, "clean" (that's my new adjective this week) chopped Merc !

Now what's going on back there? Is that a full-bodied car I see?  Looks yummy.

Thank you Jim! Clean is always an adjective I like when it comes to my building style.
I send you a dm regarding the junk on my desk

Haha. I’m a scatter brain. If I don’t have a mess on my desk, nothing creative is happening! LOL

I can’t work with too much clutter around me, I will only work on one project at a time on the bench, once I reach a stalemate point I’ll pack it away and work on another, I may leave the mockup pieces on the bench to see if ideas change.

On today’s episode of what can go wrong, decals!
Had some free bench time and decided I would finish the details of the interior, hand painted the buttons and knobs with Tamiya LP-63 titanium silver for some nice contrast to the green of the dash! I was totally stoked on this look as my hands were steady and the paint went on very smooth. Let that dry overnight and prepped for the decals, I will say that there are many products out there to make this process easy( I don’t own any of them) I used the old way of water and patience. That was the downfall, all the decals have a large clear overage and are tiny, too tiny for these old ways and hands to trim. So that leaves me with trying to trim now that the decals are dried or remove them and try again. I’m saddened by the poor fit and this has put a damper on my mood for continuing this build today.
