Ok I usually don’t get on here and ask stupid questions but this one has me stumped. As I remember many years ago the glass in these General and Bison never fit so tight. I was wondering if any of you guys are experiencing the same problem I am and how did you make it fit better. I pressed mine in the cab and it blew out the center post but it can be fixed. Thanks for your input.

been many years ago since i built the General. i cant recall having a problem. i take it you have one of the new release kits. i have had problems with other kit windshields. this is how you fix it. take your sanding stick and start sanding a little at a time where the windshield is tight checking it as you are sanding. you may have to sand both sides , bottom & top to get it to fit right. doing this your windshield will fit way better..
