To top that off, I am what's known as a worry wort. Just my nature. I deal with stress with laughter, but somedays it can be overwhelming. I won't go into details, but these back to back dreams/nightmares are a sign to me that I need to chill out before I stroke out. I'll be fine as I always do. I am guilty as heck of not taking time out for myself, and always putting others ahead of myself. Congratulations on your sobriety. Even though we've never met, I am proud of you! I and my wife were social drinkers, never having any alcohol in the house. That all stopped suddenly 12 years ago due to my daughters ex-husband being an @$$ hole always trying to start fights at the bar we were at. We just grew tired of the drama and dropped the alcohol totally. Best decision ever. Nowadays I can't stand to be around the stuff or the people who abuse it. Thanks for the congrats on my sobriety, and I agree it was the best decision for myself. I don't "preach", everybody's situation is different. I learned "myself" from mine. A modeler named mike Posted February 14 Posted February 14 Bad dream strikes again after a 5 day reprieve. In my dream it felt as if someone (who I thought was my brother) leaning or pushing down on the mattress. As I moved my hand towards the spot it was a small animal (which I thought was our dog that had died a few days ago). I began to stroke/ pet It when my legs started to be pushed towards the beds headboard and pillows. I felt frantic and tried to holler with no avail. I tried to to beat on the sliding closet door which is within arms reach but I couldn't get up the strength to reach it no matter how much I tried, all the while still trying to holler. I finally managed to touch the closet door and pushed it open but it wasn't noisy enough to wake anyone. I then tried to beat on the wall but I didn't have the strength to do so. Then I heard what I believed was my brother coming down the hall so I tried hollering again, but I could hardly make a sound. Then I woke up. It was so real that I went to see if my brother was up, he was not and the closet door that I had opened, was not. Crazy as it was, I believe that it all has to do with my brothers prostate test results coming back showing he has a high probability of having prostate cancer and needing a biopsy to determine if it's malignant or hopefully benign.

Crazy dream mike, but more importantly that's terrible news. Hopefully the test come back benign. I -------- hate Cancer, having lost many from it. I sincerely hope it's not, and wish you and your brother well. 1

All the conversation about medical lately has got me thinking seriously as I'm getting to the age where "THOSE" kinda test start happening. I've only had one serious health scare ever in my life, after that I put serious work and thought into my health and well-being. 1
