I'm not going go into my years as a comic book dealer and all that. Besides, I am done with it. However, I do have one collection that I am very proud of. My collection of Heavy Metal magazine. I have every issue from number 1 April 1977 to issue 320. I also have every hardcover and variant as well as all the Specials. It's a comprehensive collection. I also don't have a single issue below a vf grade. That means every copy is super nice. Some were never circulated, some were in private collections and were doubles. It took 9 years of diligence to complete this collection. They are also all in Mylar bags with special backing boards of the highest quality. If you've ever read HM you know what it's about. They are adult comics basically. Nothing is really off the table as far as nudity and violence are concerned. Not for the kiddies.

I also have many other Heavy Metal magazine related items. Once you start, it's hard to stop.

i not a fan of single issue comics i prefer trade publication graphic novels which compile all the issues in a particular comic story arc in one book minus the ads and each issue treated as a chapter

It's funny you should say that because the stories are serialized through several issues. Then in the 90s entire issues were devoted to single stories. It's all over the map. Probably not for you I think. But thought I'd add to your thread. My thing isn't always for everyone.
