k100 Posted February 3 Author Posted February 3 Thanks for the guys for the information. I found a picture of the same truck online . It’s been a while sense I’ve been able too get to the bench . I got CTM new air valve set had to get the rear air break plumed up . Thanks for looking . 8
cifenet Posted February 4 Posted February 4 I like the level of details and your skill to improve just about everything in this kit. I can already see this is going to be an awesome truck at the end. 1
k100 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 I want too Thank all you guys for the great comments .keeps me motivated. Nothing better to do on a cold icy , snowy Saturday than to finish up the rear air lines made a leveling valve plumed all the air bags have to finish pluming the air breaks .I know the pluming isn’t true to scale but it looks the part. I also decided to go with a Cummins instead of the Detroit I’ll save the engine for another project. Thanks for looking 5
BK9300 Posted February 9 Posted February 9 I think the plumbing all looks fantastic! Lots of resin 90’s and Tees (I seem to break a lot of them!). Well done!
k100 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Thank you Titino Thank you Brain I lost a few to the carpet monster LOL.
Rockford Posted February 9 Posted February 9 Good choice on the Cummins, it won't leak oil all over your bench. I don't ever recall having to address an oil leak on an 855cu in Cummins. 1
k100 Posted February 9 Author Posted February 9 Thank you Steve , the bench was getting a little oily .LOL
Pete68 Posted February 10 Posted February 10 20 hours ago, Rockford said: it won't leak oil all over your bench. If you know how to drive a DD right they don’t leak much oil either.
k100 Posted February 23 Author Posted February 23 Thank you for all comments . Finally had a nice day today so I was able to get the frame painted , the engine and transmission is done . Mocked up the modified front bumper .Now time to try my hand at using some rivet decals on the cab, never use them before so we’ll see how that goes. thanks for looking . 5

Also did some weathering I want it to look used but not too abused. thanks for looking . 3
