I’m gathering parts, decals and ideas I’ve also started working on the body by filing off the MACH 1 rocker trim . I’ll definitely be using the chassis and interior from the revell kit,  cammer from the MACH WON with the pro stock engine parts from the 71 mustang along with the big hood scoop filled down to a sane size . Decals are available from slixx , Platt car , and Jim Heller ,Terry car . The paint will be from Tamyia IMG_4352.thumb.jpeg.7032410ad5ec2256b89333e641bd36ea.jpegIMG_4356.thumb.jpeg.58eaf45097e86f36c1a4b3526808a9e4.jpegIMG_4357.thumb.jpeg.5852eab2cf057db52eae28bc1d69f39c.jpegIMG_4354.thumb.jpeg.f92bb9abebff7b5b0546ffc5145f6e8b.jpegIMG_4355.thumb.jpeg.7959d6ee7a4292d9b204757db033592e.jpegIMG_4353.thumb.jpeg.c0b9cbbc25ac2a5f5893821bf081101e.jpeg

I’ve been chipping away at the terry pro stock mustang. I did some work on the interior tub , I cut out the hood for the carburetor clearance and attached the scoop . I finished filling off the rocker trim along with the mustang emblems . Then sanded the body down to 1500 grit until I feel like it’s ready for paint. I prefer to spray the Tamyia white over bare white plastic with a few thin coats.IMG_4373.thumb.jpeg.16b5d41bef388320501971f22c3e68c1.jpegIMG_4374.thumb.jpeg.659ba9eb7da99650e7169a36e5b85947.jpegIMG_4376.thumb.jpeg.dddbff8c229f37c7bc5241b24c2fde5c.jpegIMG_4377.thumb.jpeg.3ba248088368413515af139f72d86f7e.jpeg

I got the tail light panel rear valance and bumper fitted . With a little carful filling and trimming they fit nicely. I just had to fill in the edges of the valance with a little super glue. All ready for paint.IMG_4398.thumb.jpeg.1c7b06a0a7200deaf11fd36fce86bdba.jpegIMG_4397.thumb.jpeg.c51d318ef555a5e9909d398dc9c508f1.jpegIMG_4396.thumb.jpeg.9565a7ec7a8b849c3cb2a9c9ad58b667.jpegIMG_4395.thumb.jpeg.a7721409e8962281999e45271d99e2a7.jpeg

Finished the paint job on the Terry mustang yesterday. I’m very pleased on how it turned out. All ready for window chrome and windows IMG_4448.thumb.jpeg.5d78bdf1974da5663bbd3a150c91aaf3.jpegIMG_4449.thumb.jpeg.b972d4461cb5271c7686877e37810f66.jpeg

Windshield and back glass insulation I’ll let this set over night then make and install the side windows. The revell glass fits the AMT body like a glove IMG_4452.thumb.jpeg.6ec2fa6560f3b0406bff5bb1cf16f1e5.jpeg

Good job. I spliced an AMT 67 Mustang engine bay into my AMT 68 Shelby.

Pro stock cammer ready for some header fabrication IMG_4509.thumb.jpeg.18294ec110c5826495e5dd855861f285.jpegIMG_4508.thumb.jpeg.360c9eb74572d13e75106537939b93e2.jpegIMG_4510.thumb.jpeg.4d33e29dad0d229cec44edbd49013868.jpeg

Solder works great for headers. I bends easily, stays where you put it and is even the right color. It was my only option for my 427 SOHC motor in my 67 Mustang drag racer. Are you going to mini tub it too?

I do my headers a little differently. I like to glue the solder into the heads first and then bend them around the chassis once the engine is glued in . No matter how you do it they always come out great IMG_4511.thumb.jpeg.393ca747515bc6707c7d51b347181ff0.jpeg
