Interesting question. I would think that this style would be ok for anything from the 40’s up into the 90’s maybe. The earlier years would not have the pressure relief? button in the center, so that could be eliminated. I’m not sure what years the button was, or if it ever was a factory thing? I build mostly 30’s to 70’s and want an easy, consistent way to replace the generic lump that is provided on some kits. Maybe someone here can shed some more light on the topic.
