Heller Polikarpov I-153

Started today, Interior, wings, undercarriage, engine, prop and exhaust.

You don't see these everyday and you've got a great start.

The old Heller kits - I built a lot of those over the years.  The "Polik" is one of my most favorite Russian planes of that era.  This will be a fun one to watch!

I still have one of my old builds of this plane in my collection except it was a vacu-form kit.

Thanks Sean, yes I build a few of the single wing plus other make seaplanes.

Painted, wait to dry and attach decals! Just the prop and front to finish.

 

 

As it's an old kit I have sprayed the decal sheet with a coat of gloss clear.

Some decals on, although the box art shows white numbers only red ones on the decal sheet, so had to repaint rear tail half in light grey.
