freightshaker2 Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Hey all it has been probably 8 years or better since I got locked out of my old Freightshaker account and could get back in 'er... i haven't been building as much due to my work and raising a 4 yr old buttt.... i have built a few. Currently working on a real beauty... started with an AMT Alaskan Hauler kit, and a Great Dane Reefer ( I know the Fruehauf looks closer to the movie) but for a shelf setter it will serve. I have it setting on the tall rubbers, i like them way better than the little kit tires.. the alaskan hauler kit is a sweet deal at Hobby Lobby if ya go on a 50% off week. I did the decals myself... laserjet printer and waterslide paper from amazon. Anyways Not alot of in progress but a few to start. Comments and critique is always welcome. I'll be adding some completed trucks on the under glass section in the next few days. 6

freightshaker2 Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 Did alittle bit more on it tonight. Got the trailer mural done on one side and air cleaners mounted. It's just about finished.. just a few minor things to button up like mirrors and small details and she's ready for under glass. 6
milo1303s Posted January 23 Posted January 23 Well, you keep your wheels spinnin' and the beavers grinnin', then. I'm out. 1
Force Posted February 1 Posted February 1 Looks good. You know they were using two different complete rigs for the movie, one 1973 and one 1974 with Hobbs trailers and they are slightly different, but both had gold hood pull emblems with black stripes, rings and KW letters.
TopherMcGinnis Posted February 1 Posted February 1 My dog didn't bite you Mister. Fred absolutely don't like GREASE!
